Over 60 Articulate kids finished filming this week for the new Netflix series "The English Game' from Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes.
The English Game is set in 1870’s England with two footballers on the opposite sides of the class divide forge a bond that helps bring the upper-class gentleman’s sport to the masses.
Articulate Kids headed back in time for this one - working in the mills, playing on the streets and supporting at football matches on thier 'days off'!
The cast includes Kingsmen and London Spy’s Edward Holcroft, The Terror’s Kevin Guthrie and Charlotte Hope, best known for playing the Myranda, the lover of Ramsay Bolton in Game of Thrones.
Other cast members include Line of Duty’s Craig Parkinson, The Victim’s James Harkness and Shameless’ Gerard Kearns as well as Sam Keeley, Daniel Ings, Henry Lloyd Hughes, Ben Batt, Harry Michell and Anthony Andrews.
They are joined by Jamestown’s Niamh Walsh, Downton Abbey’s Joncie Elmore and Game of Thrones’ Kate Dickie as well as Kate Philips and Sylvestra Le Touzel.
Articulate has had over 60 kids involved in filming and the show is due to be released in early 2020 and we are looking forward to seeing the kids in action.
