Articulate is pleased to have been involved in many productions, however, here is a small flavour of the work some of our current students are up to.
Yousef was an acting novice when he first started weekly classes at Articulate. Since making the decision to join us, Yousef has landed some dream jobs. The youngster was first offered a lead in a commercial shooting abroad, before being offered the role of Ghani in FOX's 'Tyrant Season 2'. Yousef spent months in Budapest shooting for 'Tyrant', a middle eastern drama, which can now be seen all over US and UK screens. Yousef's latest success has ben landing a series regular role in the largest kids TV show in the UK 'The Dumping Ground', a spin off of the infamous 'Tracey Beaker' on CBBC, which he is currently filming.
The Malin sisters joined Articulate, having never undertook drama lessons before. Since joining, the girls have filmed for CBBC's comedy show 'Hank Zipzer', an emotional NFTS film, an exciting Quaker Oats advert, and the highly anticipated 'Dad's Army' remake by Universal Pictures. Most recently, all three girls, along with their toddler sister, and parents, filmed for a television and internet viral 'McCain Home Roasts' campaign!
Dylan joined Articulate to build on already existing dramatic skills, and has rocketed since he made the move. Since he started with us, Dylan has landed a splendid role, playing the son of Allen Leech (Downton Abbey) and shooting alongside Sam Worthington (Avatar) in feature film 'The Hunter's Prayer'. Articulate also secured Dylan filming with Universal Pictures on the new 'Dad's Army' film, to be released this year. Most recently, Dylan has been filming in the Lake District with the BBC.
Emily started Articulate's weekly drama sessions, wishing to build on her skills learnt at local amateur dramatics group. Emily soon impressed us, and within months of joining Articulate, was off filming as the lead girl in a British Gas campaign, where she got to interview dance sensation 'Diversity'! Most recently Emily has been filming with our regular clients, the BBC.
Ubayd started Articulate as a newcomer to acting, initially taking public speaking and drama classes with us to build his skill set. Since joining us, he landed a recurring role in spooky BBC drama 'Remember Me' alongside Michael Palin and Jodie Comer. Ubayd then went on to film a quirky little role in CBBC's 'Hank Zipzer' and is now appearing as 'Faraz' in BBC comedy 'Citizen Khan'.
