Articulate baby Bertie Brotherton has been cast as Thomas Tate, a new series regular in the hit northern soap Emmerdale. Thomas Tate is the son of Gabby
Thomas, played by Rosie Bentham, and Jamie Tate, played by Alexander Lincoln.

With the current storyline of Gabby becoming a newly single mother and struggling with her responsibility as a parent to baby Thomas, it seems that we’ll be seeing a lot more of Bertie on our screens.

Emmerdale will be celebrating its 50-year anniversary later this year.
