At the 2023 Royal Television Society Awards for the North East and Borders, CBBC’s iconic, long-running drama The Dumping Ground won the ‘Best Children’s’ award!

This programme is so special to us because we’ve had so many kids land great roles: Yousef Naseer played Joseph from Series 4 to Series 6. Freddy Smith plays Kyle, Owen Phillips plays Wes, Zanele Nyoni plays Izzy, Myra Sofi Iftikhar plays Sushila in Series 10.

Only last year our agents started representing Josh Sangha, who plays Sid! It was Josh who accepted the award on behalf of the series – which was a lovely surprise for him! 

The Royal Television Society Awards recognises the talent and hard work (both onscreen and behind the scenes) that goes into the films and TV series of the past year. We’re so pleased to see The Dumping Ground receive such a prestigious award, and we’re so proud of all our kids involved with this production.
