The second season of Heartstopper is out, and Articulate’s Sam Firth plays Young Charlie in the flashback scenes of an episode.
Sam Firth (10) has been acting for a few years now, appearing as a supporting artist in Channel 5’s All Creatures Great and Small, Marvel’s Secret Invasion and Netflix’s Bank of Dave. He landed the role last September, and had a great time filming his flashback scenes.
Adapted from the webcomic and graphic novel by Alice Oseman, Heartstopper is a heart-warming Netflix series following schoolboy Charlie, his boyfriend Nick, and their friends as they navigate through their high school years. Its first season won quite a few awards, including Best New Drama by the TV Choice Awards, and a GLAAD Media award for its portrayal of LGBTQ youth. We’re so happy that Sam could be part of such a huge show – it’s a great opportunity for him to show off his amazing acting!
You can watch Heartstopper on Netflix now.
