The iconic CBBC series The Dumping Ground has returned for Series 11, and Articulate actors make up a huge chunk of the cast!

The Dumping Ground is one of CBBC’s longest running shows, continuing in the same children’s home setting from The Story of Tracy Beaker and Tracy Beaker Returns. Series 11 sees the children having to move, and butting heads with the residents of their new home. 

Owen Phillips and Zanele Nyoni have returned as Wes and Izzy, and are now joined by a few new characters: Blake Robinson stars as the scheming Frankie, Michael Carpenter plays fun-loving Oscar, and Charlie Geany joins as the cool and caring teenager Brodie. 

Articulate has had so many kids star in The Dumping Ground over the years – Yousef Naseer played Joseph from Series 4 to 6, Josh Sangha played Sid from Series 7 to 10, and Freddy Smith played Kyle in Series 9 and 10. We love seeing them getting to show off everything they have learned in classes through their characters’ storylines. They always get a good mix of fun antics and emotional episodes on this series.
