CBBC have revealed a teaser trailer for A Kind Of Spark Series 2! Evie Elgie (18) is back as series regular Jenna.

Evie is part of Articulate’s Young Performers division, and landed her first cast role as Jenna after only starting acting classes the year before. Similar to Series 1, she spent a few months filming in Ireland. 

A Kind of Spark is based on the award-winning book of the same name by Elle McNicoll, and premiered on CBBC last year to huge acclaim. Series 1 was nominated for a few awards, including at the Children’s and Family Emmy Awards for “Outstanding Casting”. The story follows a young autistic girl called Addy, who is on a mission to memorialise the women who were tried as witches in her village.

A Kind Of Spark Series 2 will be available to watch on BBC iPlayer on the 26th of April, and will start airing on CBBC on the 29th.
