LEGO has released their new Christmas advert, and it features Katy Perry, Iron Man, Rapunzel… and Articulate’s Mabel Addison!

LEGO’s 2022 holiday campaign “celebrates the creativity of children, inspires them to imagine a better world and shows how LEGO play helps them develop vital life-long skills”. In this advert, a group of children run outside to be greeted by Katy Perry in an outfit inspired by LEGO bricks and riding on a larger-than-life LEGO vehicle they’ve just created together – with every character, animal, and gadget in the colourful adventure that the kids built using their LEGO. As well as featuring Katy, the advert is backed by her chart-topping hit Firework, a song about self-empowerment, confidence, and being your true self. 

Mabel spent two weeks overseas in Bulgaria filming for this amazing advert and made lifelong friends. The experience was incredible and the children were picked up by a limo and taken from airport to hotel, as well as being treated to lots of fabulous social events and meals out whilst there! Mabel also plays Clemmie in ITV’s hit soap Emmerdale, which she landed just after filming this role. We love this advert… well done Mabel, we can’t wait to see what you do next!
