This year is going very well for Matilda Firth (9) – she stars in the thriller movie Subservience alongside Megan Fox (premiering 13th September), she was cast in the second series of Hulu’s Nine Perfect Strangers, and now we have the first look at Blumhouse’s new horror film Wolf Man.

Blumhouse and Universal’s new film is a retelling of the classic movie from 1941, with a modern twist. It stars Christopher Abbott, Julia Garner and Articulate’s Matilda Firth as a family terrorised by the titular werewolf. She had a brilliant time earlier this year filming in New Zealand, working hard and showcasing an amazing American accent. 

At only 9 years old, she’s booking some incredible jobs and filming all around the globe. She spent time in Budapest last year for Channel 5’s Coma, a few weeks in Bulgaria for Subservience, and has recently been off to Germany for Nine Perfect Strangers. She is such a talented and hard-working actress! We can’t wait to see Matilda in Wolf Man, we know she’ll smash it.

Wolf Man is set to release in the US on the 17th of January, 2025.
