Aya Maruyama, 16, one of Articulate’s young performers, has been given an amazing chance to film alongside such famous faces Emma Raducanu, Jack Grealish and Jessica Ennis-Hill in the Sports Direct Christmas advert 2021.

The epic Christmas advert, rumoured to have cost over £6 million to make, features a role call of celebrities and sporting figures from Anthony Watson to Jorden Pickford to Maro Itoje, as part of its’ “Go all out” campaign, urging Brits to get back to exercise and communal fun after being stuck indoors for so long thanks to Covid. Certainly, we’re all raring to go after having been cooped up.

Aya attends weekly Drama classes with Articulate and has also starred in a powerful Bernardo’s film since she recently joined the agency.
