Articulate Young Performer Yousef Naseer (18) guest stars in the newest episode of BBC’s Doctors, ‘Brother Of Mine’.
Yousef was cast last summer, and filmed for his episode at the end of 2023. His character, Arif Hadid, has some impactful and emotional scenes which really allow Yousef to show off his talent.
You might recognise Yousef from his years as Joseph on CBBC’s long-running series The Dumping Ground, or as Saleem Paracha in Channel 4’s Ackley Bridge. He also starred in the Channel 4 short film Youthless (alongside a lot of fellow Articulate students), and he’s most recently landed a cast role in another BBC series, which will see him filming for a few months.
Doctors is an award-winning and long-running drama, and is famous for having hundreds of guest lead driven episodes. Yousef is not the only Articulate student to guest star in an episode – Tia Richardson (23) starred in an episode last year, and she had only been with us for two months when she landed her role! George Kent (20) recently landed a guest lead role in Doctors, and we can’t wait to see his episode.
You can watch Doctors on BBC iPlayer.
