Join our accent workshop with accent and dialect coach, Sarah English!

Sarah has over 20 years experience in the industry and teaching. She is an alumni of the Royal School of Speech and Drama and currently works on their course for accent and dialect coaching.

Sarah has worked in theatres, been involved in voice over work, and trained in screen acting so she has a plethora of knowledge to pass on!

This day will consist of three workshops, each focusing on a different accent: RP (Received Pronunciation), American, and Mancunian.

You may book onto as many workshops as you would like throughout the day. The aim is for you to walk away with a toolkit for approaching new accents and a better understanding of your chosen accent (s) so you can apply this in your self-tapes.

These sessions will be for everybody aged 9 - 18 (we are happy for you to book on if you're over 18 too).

You will have scripts to prepare prior to this workshop so you are familiar with the text.

Price: £25 per workshop

Date: Saturday 20th April 2024.

Times:

American:     12:30 - 14:00

Mancunian:   14:15 - 15:45

RP:                  16:00 - 17:30

Duration: 1 hour and a half.

This is not a compulsory workshop, none of our workshops are, it's an opportunity for those who wish to gain more knowledge and develop skills in a very exclusive setting.
