Join our self-tape workshop with Kirsty Armstrong! Many of you already know Kirsty as a drama teacher here at Articulate. She has worked in the industry for over 15 years, appearing in The Moorside, Doctors, and most recently Coronation Street, to name just a few credits. Kirsty has lots of great hints and tips for creating a good quality self-tape. One of our agents, Stacey Burrows, will also be present to offer parents the best hints and tips and answer any questions you may have.
**PLEASE NOTE: if you have previously attended this workshop, please don’t book again. This will cover the same topics as last time.**
For this workshop, we ask that the adult who normally does the self-tapes with your child comes along (with your child) to this workshop so you can work practically together. One ticket = one space for an adult & child.
Kirsty will cover:`
-
Planning for a self tape
-
Positioning and correct self tape set ups (including eye lines).
-
Characterisation (a short casting scene will be provided to learn prior to the workshop)
-
Basic editing
-
Idents
This practical workshop will be 1 hour and 45 minutes and gives you the chance to improve your self-tape skills as well as see other children in action.
Please bring one fully charged device to film your child and a tripod if you need one. If you are 16 or over, you don't necessarily need to bring an adult but if you can (and do tape with them usually) then please do!
We only have limited places available so please book soon to avoid disappointment.
Please add your child's name, your email and number when booking.
